We have appraised Conservation Areas which are amongst the highest quality designated nationally.
1 & 2. Cambridge: The character around the station has been determined since the land was settled on Jesus College by the Inclosure Award in 1805. Good modern development in the 1950's and 60's used landscape as a unifying component in the townscape.
3. Cheltenham: The NW corner of Wellington Square was never built upon as originally intended. We assessed Pitt's concepts before he went bankrupt, and how they were altered by successive developments.
4. Ealing: The Montpelier Park CA is very diverse architecturally, unified by mature landscaping. We assessed the impact upon this by the additional storey on a 1930's block of flats.

5. Oxford: St. Clements is the historic route east over Magdalen Bridge to London. Ribbon development occured until around 1900, when this began to be disrupted. The proposals to replace two undistinguised C20 houses with flats have been permitted.
6. Streatley: We appraised the village and its important landscaped setting in the AONB.
7. Warwick Castle Park: The history of the Parkland, designed by Capability Brown, has been researched as part of proposals to provide public access to the Grade 1 listed landscape.
8. Wimbledon: Appraisal of the North Wimbledon CA for local residents objecting to development affecting a listed building.
9. Windsor: Park Street had been the main route east across the Great Park until it was stopped up for the completion of the Long Walk in 1851.
